Tiera Del Fuego, the Big Dog, North to Alaska, Jeep passes in the San Juans, Morocco, Baja.......we can't do those things everyday, can we?  What does an Adventure Rider do for a day-ride if they live in the corn & soy capital of the U.S.?  Here's the answer.  Total riding time from Decatur, IL and back was about 10 hours.

For 3-day weekends I do similar trips, only in the NW IL, NE IA, SE MN, and SW WI areas, where there's more of the same only better.  Don't dispair if you live in central Illinois.  You can find stuff if you look for it.
