East Fork Dallas Creek - 2004

After doing Governor Basin I was ready for an easy, scenic putt.  The East fork of Dallas Creek is just that.  To reach it, go West out of Ridgway on Hwy 62 and look for the sign.

The arrow points to the East Fork.  There's a West Fork that can be reached from further on down Hwy 62, but I didn't try it.	Scene along Hwy 62 out of Ridgway before reaching the turnoff.	The start of the East Fork road.	Some gravel switchbacks along the way.
When you get here, go right towards the Blue Lakes Trailhead.  You don't actually reach the Blue Lakes unless you park and hike.	Scenes along the way.		Back at the highway for a water and food stop before doing Last Dollar Road.
